Reference Books
Books tracing the History of Grayson County, as well as other Virginia and North Carolina Counties, are available. Much information is available on the Civil and Revolutionary Wars. Other Reference Book topics include ChurchesMusic and Early Virginia History.

Family Collections
Imogene Sutherland Collection- Forty-four boxes of obituaries, wedding announcements, birth announcements and more, spanning decades of Grayson County history. At this time, only part of the collection is available to the public as cataloging continues.

Virginia Young Collection- Donated by Mrs. Mary Ellen Smith, great-grandaughter of Ezekiel Young, this collection contains original deeds, receipts, postcards, personal letters, pictures and personal belongings of the Young family.
