The Grayson County Historical Society Newsletter, Glimpses of Grayson, has been published since 1979. Articles describing life in Grayson County, the families of Grayson, Civil War Stories, and genealogical contacts are among the many articles availabe in the newsletters. Due to a lack of volunteers, our newsletter was discontinued 1989 - 1992. The Bicentennial of Grayson County and the publication of Memories of Grayson generated new interest in the Society for a period of time, allowing for resumption of publication of the newsletter. More recently, interest has again waned, and publication has been suspended for the past year.
The continued distribution of GLIMPSES OF GRAYSON depends upon the support of all members. We are seeking queries and articles for the newsletter. If you would like to submit an article that you believe will be of interest to our readers, please mail it to the Society's post office box or send digitally to firstname.lastname@example.org. PUBLICATION OF ALL ARTICLES AND QUERIES WILL BE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE NEWSLETTER COMMITTEE. Articles not immediately printed may be kept on file for publication in subsequent issues.
We have an archive and a comprehensive index that is now available for you to request copies of past articles. To search the article index for relevant keywords, click the link below.
